The ideal candidate will have extensive experience advising companies at all stages of growth, particularly in areas such as corporate formation, mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financing, and commercial agreements. The firm is looking for a dynamic professional with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, capable of advancing a growing practice.Duties : Advise clients, including family-owned businesses and nonprofits, on formation, governance, and general corporate matters.Guide equity and debt financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate restructurings.Assist with technology licensing and compliance-related matters.Counsel businesses on succession planning, including multigenerational shareholder agreements and governance strategies.Represent clients in all aspects of sophisticated commercial and residential real estate law, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and development.Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, construction contracts, and environmental law matters.Provide legal guidance on zoning, land use planning, and permitting issues.Handle litigation, loan restructuring, and modifications for commercial clients.Actively contribute to the growth and development of the practice, with opportunities for leadership and community involvement.Requirements : Significant experience in business law, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, and real estate transactions.Proven ability to manage complex legal matters, particularly in the areas of commercial real estate, finance, and governance.Experience counseling family and owner-led businesses, with a focus on succession planning and governance principles.Strong client management skills and an entrepreneurial mindset to help drive the firm's growth.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and professional environment.Portable book of business is preferred, though not required.Education : Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Certifications : Admission to the Bar in the jurisdiction(s) where the candidate is licensed to practice.Skills : Expertise in corporate law, real estate law, and general commercial transactions.Strong document drafting, negotiation, and research abilities.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and team collaboration.Strategic problem-solving and the ability to handle high-stakes transactions and litigation.Strong work ethic, with a focus on quality and professionalism.#J-18808-Ljbffr
