Duties
- Represent clients in workers' compensation cases, including hearings, appeals, and depositions.
- Provide expert advice to clients regarding their rights and legal options under California workers' compensation statutes.
- Prepare legal documentation such as petitions, motions, and advocacy letters.
- Conduct legal research and collaborate with medical experts, vocational specialists, and other professionals.
- Manage all aspects of procedural tasks, including PQME Panels, AME / PQME exams, MPN searches, and coordinating medical appointments.
- Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies.
- Participate in hearings and conferences before the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB) and other administrative bodies.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients, ensuring they are well-informed about case progress.
