Sales and Marketing Associate

Overview:

BCG Connect, a leader in direct marketing for academic institutions and nonprofit organizations, is searching for a Sales and Marketing Associate to join our BCG Connect Marketing team.

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about working with these markets, enjoys hunting for and developing new business opportunities and has career aspirations of developing into a successful Sales Professional!

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to work closely with BCG’s VP of Marketing and Executive Vice President, be an integral part our lead generation program, learn about the direct marketing industry from a successful team that is recognized in the market, uncover NEW opportunities and areas where BCG Connect can help these organizations while developing their sales skills to become an Account Executive in the future.

Responsibilities:

· Work closely with BCG’s VP of Marketing to follow up on lead generation activity,

· Uncover NEW opportunities within NEW schools/organizations and departments,

· Learn BCG’s Sales Process from qualification through close,

· Develop effective qualifying and discovery questions to help determine potential opportunities,

· Qualify accounts and uncover new opportunities over the phone, via email and at select events,

· Work closely BCG’s Executive Vice President and VP of Marketing to move any new leads through the sales process,

· Identity new opportunities and areas where BCG Connect can help schools and nonprofits,

· Develop the skills needed to become an Account Executive by working with several of BCG’s current clients.

Skills needed:

· A hunter who enjoys finding new business opportunities,

· Comfortable prospecting and following up on lead activity,

· Strong writing and communication skills,

· Strong questioning and listening skills,

· Detail oriented and professional communicator,

· Experience using Salesforce and Hubspot a plus,

· 2-3 years of inside sales experience

· Experience with direct mail and /or fundraising a plus

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
