About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated On-Site Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our property. This role requires living on-site, fostering a strong sense of community while ensuring the property runs smoothly. The ideal candidate will handle tenant relations, enforce leases, oversee maintenance, and for the property’s financial performance. Managing a total of 50 units.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining property rentals by advertising and filling vacancies, negotiating and enforcing leases, and maintaining and securing premises.
Ability to lease up multiple units per week is a critical part of this role. In addition to the on-site property management monthly compensation, there are additional opportunities to earn leasing commissions and bonuses in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Leasing & Marketing: Advertising vacancies, conducting tours, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements.
- Maintenance Oversight: Inspecting units and common areas, coordinating turnovers, and ensuring immaculate curb appeal.
- Resident Engagement: Organizing events and programs to promote community
retention.
- Rent Collection: Implementing procedures to achieve 0% rent delinquency, posting
notices, and ensuring timely bank deposits.
- Compliance: Adhering to Fair Housing laws, ADA regulations, and company policies.
- Tenant Management: Lease renewals, move-in/move-out inspections, and resolving
resident concerns professionally.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in multi-family property management
- Proven leadership and conflict-resolution skills
- Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency with Yardi or similar property management software
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
