What you will be doing:
- Scheduling manpower and also responsible for hiring & terminations of field workers
- Managing multiple superintendents on multiple projects simultaneously
- Interpreting plumbing and HVAC shop drawings for installation
- Planning, scheduling, and coordinating on-site functions
- Performing material take-offs, ordering tools, materials, and equipment
- Coordinating of installation between trades and coordinating subcontractor progress
- Ensuring all on-site employees comply with OSHA standards and company work rules
- Scheduling equipment deliveries with General Contractor and periodic inspections by governing authorities
- Monitoring labor reporting, job cost reviews and preparing time sheets and two-week look-ahead for construction contract
- Act as a liaison and build trust between BCH Mechanical L.L.C., the client and other project parties.
- 5 years as a General Superintendent, preferable with a commercial mechanical contractor specializing in heavy commercial projects (hotels, high-rise buildings, hospitals, schools, etc.)
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills with responsibility of managing numerous. Superintendents with projects that are ongoing simultaneously.
- OSHA 10 or 30 preferred
