Position: Colorist Assistant
If you have experience working with sweater yarns and a keen eye for color, this role is perfect for you! As a key part of our sweater design team, you'll help bring our collections to life through your color expertise and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Color Commenting on Sweater Lab Dips: Provide thoughtful and precise color feedback for sweater lab dips across multiple brands.
- Tracking Lab Dips: Monitor and track lab dips from our overseas factories, ensuring all samples are reviewed and processed in a timely manner.
- Communicating with Suppliers: Send detailed color comments to yarn suppliers and ensure all feedback is documented accurately for reference.
- Sweater Print and Jacquard Commenting: Offer expert color direction for sweater print strike-offs and jacquard designs, ensuring they align with the overall collection vision.
- Support the Sweater Design Team: When not focused on color commenting, collaborate with the design team, assisting with general tasks to help keep projects on track.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in color approval.
- Strong ability to comment on color with accuracy to achieve the desired results. Experience in sweater yarn color approvals is highly valued.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and track progress on lab dips and comments.
- Proficient in communicating effectively with overseas factories and suppliers, ensuring clear feedback is delivered and understood. Ensuring mills send submits in a timely manner that allows us to adhere to calendar benchmarks.
- A collaborative attitude and the ability to work well within a creative team, contributing to the success of the design process.

The salary being offered for this full-time position is $85,000.
