The Role
This role is part of the Information Technology Team and is responsible for setting up and maintaining computer hardware systems for users, ensuring all systems are installed and maintained properly and providing support to Burkies as needed.
Important Requirements
- Install and configure computer hardware systems including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
- Troubleshoot and repair end-user computer network connections including LAN, WAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi – keep Burkies connected and bringing the best in play to our communities!
- Perform routine maintenance on computer hardware, such as upgrading RAM, replacing hard drives, and installing software updates
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, both remotely and on-site
- Be in the know - provide technical support and training to our team of Burkies
- Collaborate with senior technicians to resolve complex technical issues
- Document and maintain hardware and software inventory

Qualifications That Move Us!
- High school diploma or equivalent; current enrollment in an associate degree program in a computer science or related field preferred
- Knowledge of computer hardware systems and networks
- Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP and other network protocols
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Prior experience in IT support or related field is a plus
