Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to join our growing team at BCI Construction. This role involves overseeing project sites in the 5-state area of Minnesota, with a focus on commercial, medical, and institutional construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee site safety and monitor quality control
- Understand plans, specifications, and subcontract agreements
- Develop and manage project schedules with the Project Manager
- Record daily progress reports and maintain a clean site
- Schedule and coordinate subcontractor work and material purchases
- Implement and monitor the Safety Program for the project
- Coordinate project inspections and review cost reports
Requirements
- 3 years of building and construction management experience
- Strong communication skills and work ethic
- Ability to read plans and enforce quality control
- Valid driver's license
- Fluency in English for effective communication
Preferred Qualifications
- PC literacy (MS Word, Project, Excel, Outlook)
- Procore experience
- OSHA 30 certification
- SWPPP certification
- 5 years of construction management experience
