A National firm with 350 attorneys working from 5 offices spread across the country, this fast-growing Amlaw200 firm has a strong reputation for their Litigation Practice, and their Securities Group is no exception. With 5 full-time attorneys, and another 5 that split their work between White Collar and Securities cases, this is a busy team that are looking to add an experienced Mid-level attorney to their roster.
The practice is broad-based, from Class Action Opt-outs, shareholder activism, fiduciary duty matters, M & A litigation, structured finance and shareholder rights.
Due to the size of the team, you will need to be a confident experienced Securities Litigation associate, happy working as part of a tight-knit team or working independently. There is a natural developmental culture within the firm, and this team is no different, with support and assistance to maximise your personal career trajectory.
Billable expectation is around 1950hrs, and salaries are at Cravath Scale.
It is essential that you have 4-6yrs Securities Litigation experience (rather than Commercial Litigation experience with a smattering of securities work), and be keen to continue within this fascinating area. You could come from a large firm or a smaller, boutique firm, as long as you have the minimum Securities experience, and a thirst to develop your skills, I'd be keen to hear from you.
