Position Overview
The Litigation Support Senior eDiscovery Analyst is a member of the Litigation Support team, reports to the Senior Practice Innovation Manager and supports the Litigation and Investigation (“L&I”) department. This role serves as a resource the L&I department, collaborating to recommend and implement innovative eDiscovery solutions across the EDRM. This role involves, learning and adopting new technology, processes, and solutions. It also involves experience developing eDiscovery workflows, best practices, quality control, and training content. This role also involves workload management and project management. Success in this role requires working well on a team as well as independently, taking initiative, and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
The essential tasks and responsibilities for this position include experience using eDiscovery technology to perform the following:
- Create matter specific workspaces.
- Prepare and load ESI per case team instructions.
- Manage access to workspaces by adding users to existing roles with appropriate security permissions.
- Create views, create tags, and other features to enhance document review.
- Assist case teams with Early Case Assessment strategies by applying search terms, date ranges and other culling mechanisms to identify documents for review. This includes providing Search Term Reports (“STR’s) to evaluate the effectiveness of search terms and iterative search term application.
- Assist the case team in preparing documents identified for review by creating batches and clusters.
- Produce documents per case team instructions.
- Assist with eDiscovery and other projects as required.
- In addition to the standard eDiscovery responsibilities above, assists with developing and updating Litigation Support workflows.
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of eDiscovery best practices and quality control initiatives.
- Connect users to training materials; customize training materials as required.
- Monitor the workload of the litigation support team and assigns work to the support services vendor.
- Manages the litigation support team projects and other related projects when requested.
- Advises on AI capabilities and developments in the litigation support space.
- Create AI uses cases in eDiscovery in collaboration with stakeholders, technology providers, and support services vendors.

- Protect firm and client data in compliance with the firm’s data governance policies.
Travel
Limited travel may be required for this position.
Education/Experience/Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree - preferably in Legal Studies, Information Systems, or related field.
- At least five (5) years of eDiscovery experience, preferably in a law firm or with a litigation support vendor.
- eDiscovery certification preferred.
- Project Management certification preferred.

Pursuant to pay transparency laws, BCLP is posting a reasonable estimate of a compensation range for this position. At the time of posting, the estimated range for California, Colorado, Illinois, and Washington is $100,000 to $147,000. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to the level of relevant experience, skill sets, training, licensure and certifications, internal equity, market data, and other job-related factors permitted by law. The range is based on a full-time work schedule. Additional compensation may include an annual discretionary bonus.
