BCM Security Services is seeking an experienced, unarmed security officer to join their team at a local Scranton high school. Perfect for retired Law Enforcement, CO & Military personnel.
- Required Qualifications:
- Strong background in security and conflict management
- First aid, CPR, and law enforcement certifications preferred
- Previous school security experience is preferred
- Ability to work effectively with high school students
-Former Law Enforcement, CO is preferred
- Military background a plus
You must have a professional appearance, friendly personality, and strong interpersonal skills.
No facial piercings, no tattoos above the collar/neck line or below the wrist. Must be clean cut, well groomed and professional in appearance.
This position is for the following days: Thursdays & Fridays from 1-9pm, Saturday & Sundays 8am-4pm. With the flexibility of covering shifts during the week 1p-9pm.
Pay is $16.00/hr. No certifications required currently.
A clean background is mandatory, and a background check will be performed and repeated every 2 years.
Duties will include inspecting the school facilities for issues, hazards, or damages; check gates and doors, and ensure the general welfare of students, visitors, and staff.
Must be able to stand/walk/patrol the majority of the day.
You will be required to walk/patrol throughout the entire day, inside AND outside of the facility, to the sporting fields, which are about a half mile off campus. This is NOT a seated position.
