Senior System Administrator
Place of Performance : On / Off Site, Ft Meade, MD, 7 : 00am - 4 : 00 pm EST
Clearance : DoD Secret
Years of Experience : 8
Education / Certification Requirements : BS, Engineering, Management Information Systems of Related Technical Degree and CompTIA Security Plus Cert.
Specific Duties
This position will provide the Spectrum System Administration services including but not limited to :
- Provide support to the Windows Server 2016 / 2019, Oracle 19g, SQL Server 2017, and GOTS Application and Database.
- Provide day-to-day system administration to keep the system operational, functioning as designed, and compliant with cybersecurity accreditation requirements. This also includes
- All aspects of IT operation and maintenance for the software to include corrective actions that may be required to overcome issues that are caused by an operating system patch, COTS / GOTS patch, or code update.
- Responsible for coordinating backups prior to performing an upgrade of any type and subsequent restoration prior to finding a corrective solution as directed.
- Maintain assets and will work with DISA and other contractors to troubleshoot, identify and remediate these issues.
- Responsible for coordinating backup prior to any operating system patch, COTS product patch, or other software update and subsequent restoration.
- Perform other duties as assigned
