Position: Senior Cloud Engineer – Contingent Hire
Clearance: Top Secret
Hours: 8a-5p Monday – Friday, except Government Holidays
Place of Performance: Ft Meade, MD/Possibly Hybrid
Years of Experience: 8
Education/Certification Requirements: BS, Engineering, Cybersecurity or Related Technical Degree or 12 years of Experience; CISSP or related Certification.
Overview:
BCMC will develop, enhance, and sustain a Top Secret/SAP IT Enterprise via a hybrid cloud and on-premises solution with general and overarching performance requirements for operating and improving existing capabilities as well as researching, prototyping, and developing new technologies to achieve the Department’s execution objectives. This requirement is key to achieving a vision of a product-oriented program with improved user experience and agile delivery capability. This effort requires technical support for the systems and programs identified in the PWS as a result of technology refresh, insertions and/or development.

- Manages Cloud requirements analysis, conceptual design, detailed design, and implementation of a cloud project
- Assists in the migration of a cloud effort
- Generates requisite cloud documentation
- Generates customer design review materials and present at customer design reviews
- Has strong understanding of Cloud information flows and process architecture necessary for implementation of cloud security
- Uses information technology to plan, prepare, and execute cloud related security tasks
- Prepares and reviews Cloud security architecture
- Applies knowledge of Cloud security requirements, documentation, and risk mitigation strategies
- Develops Cloud design documentation
- Implements Cloud security policies and procedures
