Construction Project Manager
Location : Hopewell, VA
Pay Rate : $94 / hr ST (non-exempt)
Per Diem : GSA Rates
Mob / Demob : $500 mobilization / demobilization one time at beginning and end of assignment.
Schedule : Anticipated work schedule is 6 / 10s, work will fluctuate based on construction / installation schedule.
Start Date : March 17, 2025
Duration : May 30, 2025 (outage)
As a Construction Project Manager, you will lead and oversee all assigned projects on-site. We are seeking candidates with significant experience in managing major power plants and equipment, particularly around turbines, generators, and other critical systems.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure all projects prioritize Safety and Environmental Compliance for all personnel involved.
- Monitor project timelines and resolve conflicts proactively by maintaining an on-site presence for at least 80% of the project duration.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure the quality of work and materials furnished by vendors and subcontractors.
- Evaluate work quality to adhere to contract specifications, regulatory requirements, codes, and company standards.
- Make sure clients receive products and services that meet their Purchase Order specifications.
- Understand the Scope of Work (SOW) and ensure all suppliers comply with Dominion Specifications and Standards.
- Report any deviations from contract specifications to the Project Manager.
- Provide detailed inspection reports and status updates as needed.
- Offer constructive feedback to contractors, engineers, safety personnel, and management regarding any issues encountered.
- Comprehend client’s Supplemental Terms & Conditions and the related Safety and Environmental Compliance standards.

The Construction Project Manager will manage travel between multiple job sites as necessary.
Candidates must be motivated, capable of working independently, and possess strong communication skills. Physical qualifications include the ability to work in confined spaces, climb stairs and ladders, and wear a respirator as required.
