We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of digital systems for power uprate projects. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to take on new responsibilities and contribute to the success of our company.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical design engineering and experience working on power uprate projects. Key responsibilities include:
* Determining solutions and managing resources for power uprate plant modifications.
* Preparing design deliverables and conducting Owners Acceptance Reviews.
* Managing technical supplier teams and coordinating Engineering and station department resources.
* Providing field support during modification walkdowns, installation, testing, and as-built verification.
* Complying with regulatory requirements, including 50.59, License Amendment Request preparation, and any required supporting analysis.
**Skills and Qualifications:**
Required:
* BS Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Controls, or related Engineering or related technical degree with 3-5 years of experience performing related Engineering work in a nuclear power plant or related industry.
* Minimum 1-2 years of experience in electrical design engineering.
* Availability for shift work during installation.
* Must meet Nuclear requirements for unescorted plant access.
* Must possess a valid US driver's license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
Desired:
* Power uprate experience at a pressurized water reactor (PWR).
* Prior Design Engineering configuration control qualification.
* Professional Engineering license.
