- Minimum three years' experience in electronic manufacturing environment.
- Strong written/verbal communication skills.
- Computer skills sufficient to adapt to new programs.
- Must be able to read drawings and blueprints.

- Inspect components, housings, and finished assemblies for conformance to specifications, using magnifying devices, and/ or precision measuring equipment.
- Prepare first article reports to the AS9100 standards for customer requirements.
- Review work orders, customer supplied drawings, customer quality standards, BOMs, and quality specifications. May confer with supervisors, quality assurance, and engineering, to determine specifications.
- Examine electrical, structural, and mechanical components for defects in assembly, soldering, and finish.
- Verifies dimensions, locations of parts, holes, grooves, and other points.
- Maintain records of inspection and test results. Input data such as pictures and other documentation required to the electronic data base.
- Scans documents for tractability and customer control. Upload to the database for record retention.III. INDEPENDENCE OF ACTION
- Works under minimal/general supervision from management following established company and department policies, procedures, methods, and precedent This position requires the exercise of independent judgment, professionalism and problem solving abilities. Decisions are reviewed by management for soundness and consistency.IV. WORK ENVIRONMENT
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, bend and walk. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and to talk/hear.
