Full-Time Youth Support Specialist for High School Students with Disabilities
Join us in helping our students feel confident in their diverse abilities as they transition from high school to young adulthood! This is an important role supporting students to develop life skills that promote independence and as they work towards their employment goals.
Weekly Schedules:
- Daylight hours, 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Monday - Friday
- No nights
- No weekends
- No holidays
Pay and Benefits:
- Health Insurance, Dental, Vision, Short Term & Long Term Disability, Life Insurance and Retirement-Defined Benefit Pension Plan for those who qualify
- Pays $17.25 per hour, Paid time off and 11 paid holidays.
Your role as a Youth Support Specialist will include:
- Supporting students in community inclusion that fosters the development of their life skills
- Engaging students in activities that enrich their relationships within their community
- Fostering the development of social skills, self-advocacy skills, strong work habits, and financial management
