Maintenance Person
BCRC, Inc. (Beaver County Rehabilitation Center) is a non-profit agency that provides support to people with intellectual, developmental, psychiatric, and physical disabilities with the goal of increasing independence, securing employment, and enriching relationships through community inclusion.
As a full time Maintenance Person your schedule will be:
- Monday through Friday -Daylight
- No nights, No weekends, No holidays
As a Maintenance Person your pay and benefits will be:
- $20.00/hr
- 11 paid holidays as well as 17 days of accrued PTO/year

Location: Workplace includes three BCRC buildings and surrounding grounds in Beaver, PA and Aliquippa, PA. Headquarters for maintenance is in the Aliquippa location.
Your role will include:
- Performing general maintenance, grounds maintenance, repairs, monitoring, inspecting, and preventive maintenance, assist with installations/ repairs and renovations, to provide continuous services and a safe environment that ensures efficient and effective operation for the buildings.
- Performing repairs and preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment including but not limited to; plumbing fixtures, water heating equipment, electrical devices, light fixtures and controls, valves and basic controls
- Performing and maintaining exterior of grounds in a safe and aesthetically pleasing condition at all times. This includes snow removal services and grounds maintenance. Ability to operate equipment associated for the service required.
- Performing a wide variety of manual tasks. Must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.
- Adhering to and complies with company safety policies and rules. Adheres to OSHA safety standards that are applicable for safe job performance..
- Reporting to the Facilities Manager
Qualifications:
- A valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting
- Ability to use hand tools including drills, plungers, carpet cleaners, vacuum cleaners, mowers and snow blowers.
- 2 years’ general maintenance experience
- Forklift certified - preferred but not required
