As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) working with adults and youth with disabilities, your schedule could be:
- No nights
- No weekends
- No holidays
- Flexible work hours, Monday-Friday, 7:15 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.
Your pay and benefits will be:
- $16.75 per hour
- BCRC values and provides paid extensive training for all staff.
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will work with either students with disabilities ages 14-22 yrs. old or adults with disabilities.
Your role as a Direct Support Professional may include:
- Supporting individuals with disabilities in community inclusion that fosters the development of their life skills
- Engaging individuals with disabilities in activities that enrich their relationships within their community
- Fostering the development of social skills, self-advocacy skills, strong work habits, and financial management in individuals with disabilities
