We are looking for a Acquisition Analyst to support the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense (JPEO-CBRND) Headquarters (HQ) in Ft. Leonard Wood, MO.

Essential Job Functions
- Assist the Government by serving as the principal advocate and single point of contact for the Joint Program Executive Office at Fort Leonard Wood, providing centralized management and multi-faceted support of Joint Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Defense Programs (both medical and non-medical)
- Monitor CBRND requirements-based activities to promote and facilitate the accelerated delivery of emerging/new capabilities to the Joint Force and military services
- Support leadership in developing and managing strategic plans, acquisition strategies, policies, and briefings to enhance program effectiveness and decision-making.
- Directly advise the command level staff on areas to improve Army equities in CBRND, including the requirements process to meet Army and Joint Force needs.
- Attend and support both formal and informal meetings by taking notes, providing recommendations, assisting with brief development, and ensuring process awareness to effectively engage with senior officials and key personnel.
- Review both internal and external reports and briefs, including those of other agencies, and provide expert analyses of the documents (e.g., relevance and impact to CBRND enterprise acquisition programs, etc.).
- Establish and maintain close working relationships and open lines of communication and understanding between stakeholders to enhance coordination.
- Shall develop and present clear and concise reports and briefings to communicate input, findings, and recommendations to Senior Leadership.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of DoD experience supporting Acquisition, Requirements, and Training Development efforts
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, in a military environment.
- Experience supporting senior leadership while mentoring and training other colleagues
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software, with specific experience in effective use of Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
