Allegient Defense (DBA BCS Allegient) is a leader in advanced technology research and solutions development, and we are growing quickly. We are looking to hire a Senior Program Analyst to support the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense (JPEO- CBRND) Headquarters (HQ) in Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii.
- This position is an onsite role.
Essential Job Functions
- Provide plans analysis and technical subject matter expertise to leadership personnel in the U.S. Pacific Command and the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Chemical and Biological Defense (ODASD(CBD)).
- Provide analysis on U.S. national plans and policy.
- Support the integration of Chem/Bio Defense Program (CBDP) priorities.
- Attend various meetings, both formal and informal, with senior level officials of the Joint Staff and key personnel from other activities and agencies.
- Will coordinate efforts to establish a sustainable and effective Bio surveillance (BSV) system.
- Prepare briefs for use within attended forums to support analysis of planning and support.
- Proactively pursue and identify capability gaps and opportunities across the staff to improve integrated early warning, biological response, and coordination processes.
- Participate in and support the organization's experimentation, workshops, and technology development efforts.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of experience with team building, facilitating, and mentoring various government stakeholders (DoD experience preferred)
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, in a military environment.
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software, with specific experience in effective use of Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
