Position Overview
The Senior Project Manager will play a critical role in the oversight and successful delivery of BCS’ portfolio of Business Transformation initiatives. This role will lead project initiatives, working closely with business and technical teams to define scope, budget and timeline, create project plans, and manage the end-to-end execution to achieve successful outcomes. The Senior Project Manager will also support other initiatives focused on process improvement, developing and enhancing business workflows, and leading efforts to implement scalable solutions across Operations.
This position will report to the VP of Service and Operations.
Essential Elements
- Oversee and manage delivery of business transformation initiatives on time and within budget
- Support and facilitate Business Transformation portfolio management activities, including business case development, prioritization and scheduling, and status reporting
- Lead or participate in efforts to implement process improvement across Operations and other business areas, develop business workflows, and create scalable solutions that enable BCS growth and generate cost savings opportunities
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's Degree required or commensurate experience
- Project Management certification (PMI) preferred
- Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
Experience
- Minimum of 7 years project management experience within the insurance industry required
- Proficient with project management tools such as Azure Board, Jira, and Microsoft Project
- Experience working with a wide range of internal stakeholders, external vendors or administrative partners
