Position Overview
The Underwriting Intern will participate in BCS Financial Corporation’s 6-9 month Internship program. The intern will work in within BCS’ Underwriting department under assigned Supervisors, to gain a thorough understanding of BCS’ business operations and real-world work experience in an office setting. The ideal candidate will be an active college student, recently enrolled or currently attending, in their Junior or Senior year of a qualifying Bachelor’s degree program, or a college student who has recently graduated from a qualifying Bachelor’s degree program. They must have strong analytical skills, and must be proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically with Word and Excel.
This position will report to their assigned Intern Supervisor(s).

Requirements
Education and Certifications
- Currently enrolled in a full-time post-secondary education, ideally in a degree program concentrating in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or related fields with minimum GPA of 3.00 required.
- Proof of enrollment on track to graduate between December 2025 and June 2026.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Experience
- Strong analytical and data entry skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft office software, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
- An interest in pursuing a career in insurance.
Travel Required
- This role is hybrid and required to be in the office at least 2 days per week.
