As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the estimation and planning of industrial and marine construction projects. In addition, you will collaborate with Operations leadership, clients, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and under budget while maintaining high-quality standards and compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Review bid requests and develop accurate, detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Prepare comprehensive bid proposals, including scope definitions, schedules, and subcontractor quotes.
- Develop and monitor project schedules, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company objectives.
- Create and monitor project budgets, track expenses and ensure the projects are executed within the allocated budget
- Coordinate manpower with Operations Leadership to ensure completion of project within the deadline
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, adherence to specifications, and safety compliance.
- Work closely with site supervisors and subcontractors to resolve construction challenges efficiently.
- Review project specifications and drawings to assist in development of bid packages
- Maintain knowledge of competitive advantages in the industry to aid the bidding process
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation
- Foster strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
