We are seeking a dynamic professional to act as a trusted liaison between technical teams and clients, ensuring effective communication, timely delivery, and successful project outcomes. This role involves translating complex technology solutions into clear, actionable insights for customers, explaining decisions, and offering options for improvements. The candidate will participate in client-facing meetings to address concerns, refine approaches, and adjust project timelines as needed. Building and maintaining client trust is paramount, with a focus on exceeding expectations while staying on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical translation skills, the ability to navigate ambiguous aspects of projects, and expertise in collaborating with related entities to meet contractual obligations. Additionally, they will manage subcontractors and partners to ensure seamless execution of project deliverables.
How You Contribute to the Team:
Project Coordination & Administration
Provide high-level oversight of core services and project management for client facing projects. For client-facing projects, review statements of work, design and maintain project plans and schedules, and manage work hours, budgets and expenditures.
Work with client leadership to organize, attend and participate in stakeholder meetings.
Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project; undertake additional project tasks as required.
Provide administrative support: complete monthly reports, manage proper invoicing and billing in coordination with BCT’s accounting staff; perform purchasing and other administrative tasks as needed.
Conduct monthly project reviews detailing key activities including project updates, risks, and issues, and the financial status of project.
Collegially engage and influence stakeholders to ensure they stay focused on project goals and desired outcomes.
Manage relationships with client. Serve as client and/or partner point of contact for contractual issues.
Account Management – Client and Partners
Work with client leadership to ensure day to day activities align with client and project expectations; client will provide technical leadership for engagement.
Manage teams comprised of multiple resources (i.e., BCT staff, sub-contractors) to work in an integrated way with the client.
Understand all aspects of projects including, but not limited to, business case, statement of work, partner relationships, budget, resource requirements, contractual obligations, deliverables, and key milestones.
Coordinate the onboarding and/or kickoff of staffing engagements.
Serve as central point of contact for all staff concerns.
Leadership and Supervision
Ensure staff understand their duties and are aware of performance expectations and deadlines.
Monitor staff productivity and work quality; provide regular on-going constructive feedback and supportive coaching.
Build and model a team mentality, inspiring a shared vision.
Lead, challenge and inspire staff, support and nurture growth.
Be open to, and receive complaints; resolve problems and involve senior leaders and Human Resources as needed or required.
Participate in staff hiring, training and performance evaluation processes.
Ensure adherence to legal, BCT and client policies and procedures; involve senior leaders and/or Human Resources in matters requiring disciplinary or legal action.
Perform these and other reasonable tasks as assigned by management in support of BCT’s goals and objectives.
What You Bring to the Table:
Bachelor’s or advanced degree from an accredited college or university with a preference for business administration or related field; comparable relevant professional experience may be an alternative to a degree or college.
At least 7 years of professional experience in roles requiring project management, process planning and assessments, client consulting and supervising direct and indirect reports including subject matter experts; experience managing projects with the federal government desired.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification strongly desired.
Experience coordinating projects across multiple remote teams and individuals, ensuring tasks, documents and deadlines are all effectively managed and met; able to facilitate project work- sessions and support technical decision-making.
Experience using Agile, Scrum, Dev Ops, and /or DevSecOps methodologies for solutions and operations/maintenance is a plus.
Demonstrated personal experience with Web applications development, and experience working with teams that design, develop, implement and support software solutions in a cloud based. environment; expertise with a multi-cloud environment is also a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to listen, collaborate and build relationships with staff, clients, remote colleagues, supervisors and others.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively when speaking and in writing and provide guidance and support to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong organizational, administrative and project coordination skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
Able to, both independently and collaboratively, solve problems, make decisions and support change, exercise sound judgment, ask questions and be open to the input and decisions of others.
Computer, Internet and general proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Teams. Experience with Monday.com and SharePoint a plus.

There are multiple factors considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
BCT offers a competitive total compensation package that, for this position, includes a base salary between $110,000 and $125,000 along with a generous benefits package. BCT’s benefits include heavily subsidized medical, dental and vision coverage, fully vested 401k plan with company match, company paid life and disability insurance plans, paid family leave, and a plentiful paid time off policy.
Though we do have staff in all four time zones, BCT Partners works primarily on Eastern Time.
