These candidates will work closely with Lead Attorneys to assist with all aspects of personal injury litigation. Duties include : Propound and respond to discoveryPerform legal research, draft motions, complaints, pleadings, and other litigation documents as necessaryPrepare for, take and defend depositionsAttend State and Federal court hearings as requiredAssist Lead Attorney with maintenance of heavy case load ensuring all cases move forward in a timely manner and within deadlinesPrepare for Second Chair TrialsRepresent clients in personal injury accidents; auto, slip & fall, motorcycle, wrongful death, medical malpractice, premises liability and insurance disputesInvestigate and prepare claim demands to insurance companies in multiple statesNegotiate and settle disputes with insurance companies in multiple statesPrepare and file civil lawsuits on behalf of clientsQualified candidates will be in good standing and have a CA license with a minimum of 2 years of PI litigation experience. Must be able to work under strict deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must have excellent research skills and oral and written communication skills.
