Summary Description
This role is within the BD Interventional Surgery business unit. This role is in the U.S. region and is responsible for coordinating contracting and pricing strategies aligned with the overall business objectives. This includes operating as the conduit between Marketing, National Accounts, Business Analytics, Contract Administration and Sales teams. Accountable for tracking and interpreting market conditions and trends, and for developing and implementing long-term and short-term strategies and action plans to achieve business goals and objectives. This role reports to the Senior Director, Commercial Integrator.
This role is a key member of the Surgery commercial team, and drives the following activities to ensure success at the product line, market, platform and business unit level:
Primary Responsibilities
Manages ongoing interface between marketing, finance and field sales across the Surgery portfolio regarding new or renewing contracts and pricing management. Manage implementation of agreed upon pricing guidelines and strategies aligned with business objectives.
Responsible for the development of financial modeling, metrics, ROI projections and analysis for all key accounts. Assist in development of improved processes and systems and export commercial strategy knowledge to selling teams.
As assigned, lead integration of business unit objectives into one-company key account strategies, bids or contracts, working with BD U.S. regional commercial teams
Maintain close association with customers and field sales organizations. Communicate critical information regarding market conditions, or issues and opportunities to business and marketing management.
Develop programs and provide training to commercialization teams on business unit portfolio and objectives.
Participate in the development of business strategies and pricing guidelines as requested.
Maintain linkage across BD business units and identify new opportunities and synergies to maximize the overall BD U.S. region.
Support sales organizations in key customer meetings as needed, by developing programs or presentations related to business unit portfolio or objectives.
Completes development plan and related assignments tailored to acquire knowledge and expertise to maximize success in current role, and support promotion to next level leadership position.

Qualifications
BS/BA in business, science, engineering, health care or a closely related discipline required. MBA with concentration in marketing or finance preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of healthcare focused direct selling, contracting, offer development or sales analytics experience demonstrating a track record of success.
Advance working knowledge in Excel
Must have familiarity with sales reporting systems, have strong quantitative analysis skills, and commercial strategy skills.
Large account management and purchasing group experience preferred.
Works independently/independent thinker.
Proven ability to deliver results and lead teams collaboratively without direct reporting authority.
Organized, process oriented, collaborative, technical or medical orientation, internally motivated, action oriented, and drive for results.
Ability to travel as needed
