Maintain the PM’s assigned projects list with the most up to date information. Obtaining these data points will involve the following:

Calling on the point of contact for each particular project to check on the progress of the site on a regular basis, even if we are not currently working on location.

Visiting locations of high importance often. While not so often for projects that are of lesser urgency to see with one's eyes the progress of the site. This also strengthens the relationship with the client’s personnel. PMs are encouraged to bring gifts when visiting sites like donuts, coffee, etc.

Checking with the internal team the status of pending tasks on the project. These items include: engineered drawings, materials, billing, contracts, insurance and more.

Maintain all project P&L’s up to date with the most recent financial reconciliation up to the last payroll cycle closure. All projects will have a spreadsheet that includes all costs associated with specific line items from the project. This information will be provided by accounting.

Make travel and purchase decisions as needed to ensure the project is performed on schedule. This timeline constraint is determined by communication with internal and external stakeholders on the project. Internally this can be the salesperson directly involved with the project/client. Externally this can be the client’s project managers, superintendents, and more.

All travel and purchase decisions must be weighed against the project’s budget, labor constraints and morale, realistic urgency of the project and other intangible factors. All purchase and travel decisions can be questioned and must hold up to scrutiny from management.

All project managers will hold an FCC G.R.O.L. license within 6 months of starting the position. Project managers will be expected to perform RF site surveys, assist in the preparation of site surveys for other technicians, perform commissioning of BDA systems, troubleshoot installation issues, act as the company representative at AHJ inspections, assist installation teams with procurement of materials and/or tools on site and more.

The PM will also ensure that all rental equipment such as lifts, booms and specialty drills are ordered, delivered and picked up in a timely manner to avoid paying rush or late fees.

Project managers will be responsible for the professional appearance of themselves and the technicians assigned to them as direct reports. This includes having the correct P.P.E. required by the site and the proper clothing with company branding.
