Accounts Payable Clerk

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, and maintaining financial records. This role requires strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial concepts, as well as proficiency in data entry and general ledger accounting.

Duties

• Process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Perform data entry tasks related to accounts payable transactions.
• Analyze accounts payable reports to identify discrepancies or issues.
• Assist in the reconciliation of general ledger accounts related to payables.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment inquiries.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in accounts receivable or accounts payable is required.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
• Proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy.
• Familiarity with general ledger accounting principles and reconciliation processes.
• Experience with payroll systems, particularly Deltek Computer Ease.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
