Auto Body Technician/Painter

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician/Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for automotive repair. This role involves repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. As an Auto Body Technician, you will work with various tools and equipment, including power tools and welding machines, to fabricate and assemble, and paint components as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on damaged vehicles, including bodywork, frame straightening, and painting.
• Assemble and disassemble vehicle parts as necessary for repairs.
• Weld and solder components to restore structural integrity.
• Fabricate parts when replacements are not available or feasible.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines.
• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and ensure quality standards are met.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair.
• Proficient in using power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools.
• Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship in all repairs.
• Ability to fabricate parts as needed for specific repairs.
• Excellent customer service skills to effectively interact with clients.
• Experience working in a dealership environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with soldering techniques is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.81 - $24.12 per hour
