We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team.

An Estimator will be responsible for evaluating project costs and preparing detailed estimates for construction projects. This role requires a keen understanding of processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients.

Job Responsibilities:

- Project Analysis: Review project plans and specifications to understand scope of work. Conduct visits to potential job sites to assess existing conditions and gather information.

- Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and overhead. Analyze quotes from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitiveness.

- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to finalize estimates.

- Use software tools for cost estimation and project management.

- Communicate effectively with clients to manage their expectations and requirements.

- Identify potential risks and uncertainties in project estimates.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field.

- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.

- Proficiency in using estimating software.

- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.

- Ability to negotiate effectively with various stakeholders.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Monday-Friday position with access to company vehicle for estimations. Company cell phone provided. Paid vacations and bonus opportunities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $800.00 - $1,200.00 per week
