Job Summary:
This Director position is a multi-faceted, challenging role that requires excellent client/prospect facing skills, being well-versed and adept in Cloud migration and cloud security tools and technologies (including the Microsoft products/platforms), excellent communication and presentation skills, the ability to effectively influence clients/opportunities, develop relationships with technical and business contacts/partners and a passion for and proven results in driving revenue.
The Director has two primary roles. (1) Support the National Leader on overall Infrastructure and Cloud practice go to market and practice development. (2) Lead sales and pipeline development and execution for the Infrastructure and Cloud practice.
The Firm provides comprehensive Infrastructure and Cloud services to mid-market organizations including cloud strategy, migration, security, and ongoing management.
Job Duties:
- Identifies and leads new business opportunities to expand the practice and communicates such opportunities to superiors
- Leads marketing and business development activities and actively promotes Cloud in the middle market, within BDO Digital, BDO USA and globally with partner firms
- Leads solution and works closely with key internal Go-To-Market and other sales functions on partnerships, opportunity management and cross sell
- Fosters a success-oriented, accountable environment within the Infrastructure and Cloud practice
- Prepares formal and informal presentations for various internal / external meetings, public events, webinars, panels, and other speaking opportunities
- Manages tasks closely to make sure they are being completed in a timely manner

- Works closely with BDO Business Development team
- Ensures Infrastructure and Cloud engagements are staffed accordingly and oversees delivery quality Acts as mentor to team members, as appropriate
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree, required; focus in Technology, preferred
Experience:
- Fifteen (15) or more years of IT Infrastructure, Information Security, IT or similar professional experience, required
- Five (5) or more years client facing consulting experience, required
- Five (5) or more years of strong sales experience - building and managing pipelines, required
- Strong and proficient technical knowledge and experience in infrastructure and cloud tools, technologies, and solutions, required
- Three (3) or more years experienced in consulting practice development, preferred

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
Illinois Range: $175,000 - $225,000
