Position Overview
The In-House Attorney will play a critical role in providing legal support across various aspects of the business. This position is open to qualified attorneys as well as law students who are currently enrolled in an accredited law program.
Key Responsibilities
- Underwriting: Assist in the legal review and assessment of business ventures, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
- Contract Review: Draft, review, and negotiate business contracts to minimize risk and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Intake Management: Handle the intake process for new legal matters, ensuring timely and accurate documentation and resolution.
- Legal Research: Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to provide informed recommendations.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to address legal needs and support operational decisions.
Qualifications
- For Attorneys:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in [insert state(s)].
- Strong understanding of contract law and business law principles.
- For Law Students:
- Enrollment in an accredited law school, with a focus on business law, contracts, or related fields.
