Essential Functions:
- Manage all day to day functions of BDP Transport Ocean shipments within the DJS division as well as BDP International
- Procure rates and services with SS Lines and Consolidators for best market pricing specific to Asia to US pricing, including India Sub-Continent.
- Complete RFQ / RFP request and provide full routing and guidelines for all bids and pricing request from the team.
- Coordinate all levels of carrier transportation services and activities.
- Research and resolve pricing discrepancies
- Complete and update pricing tables and rating matrices for operations to provide to customers.
- Build rapport with Sales, Management, and customer service of all vendors to grow and culture relationship to gain better influence in working relationship.
- Liaise with Overseas operations to utilize best carrier choices for individual accounts as well as general cargo moving for all Import business.
- Maintain the overall carrier strategy for BDP Transport that is in alignment with overall corporate goals and service commitments with carriers.
- Help source and select carriers based on specific requirements and needs.
