Warranty Clerk

Description

Roberts Truck Center of Texas, a locally owned heavy duty truck dealership that has been in business for 45 years, is seeking an individual to join our Warranty Team as a full time Warranty Clerk in our Amarillo, TX office. This person will be responsible for preparing, recording and submitting and reconciling warranty claims for multiple locations.

Job Duties:

• Review warranty repair orders to manufacturer warranty guidelines
• Process warranty claims on a timely basis
• Review comments from technicians to verify that all warranty submission information is correct
• Ensure all documentation on repair order is within manufacturer guidelines prior to closing
• Code all warranty repairs in the business system in order to create a warranty claim.
• Make correct adjustments to warranty repair in the business system as needed (examples: Separations and Splits)
• Assist in maintaining technician flag hours
• Verify that parts used or the repair are correct.
• Invoice all warranty repair operations in the business system
• Reconcile warranty receivables though the correct accounting schedule for your assigned vendor.
• Always maintain a safe work environment
• Always have a professions appearance
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Proficient in Excel and Word
• CDK software experience a plus
• Able to handle deadlines
• Attention to detail
• Able to take direction
• Must be able to pass the pre-employment drug screening and background check
