What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Staff position at Be A Champion, Inc.?
The Champion Fuel Food Program Staff will coordinate the distribution of an after-school meal program at a specific assigned school. The main responsibility of this position is to distribute pre-packaged meals to students in all school-based after school activities while adhering to CACFP guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age and
- Must have at least a High School Diploma or GED.
- Student Ambassadors: 16 and up and enrolled in school with a minimum 2.5 GPA
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be dependable and have transportation to assigned serve site.
- Must be a motivated self-starter
- All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.A., for any U.S.A employer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive and verify count of pre-packaged meals each day
- Ensure all meals are distributed to all students in various after school activities, while adhering to CACFP regulations and local health and safety standards.
- Ensure the completion and accuracy of student attendance using specified CACFP form.
- Ensure children eat all meals on-site.
- Dispose of any unserved meals and trash.
- Submit daily attendance report and hours worked to Program Coordinator

- All positions are Part-Time
- Most Shifts vary between 3-4 hours long, Monday – Friday, however, please note that days/schedules may vary during COVID-19
