Requirements
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Install, configure, maintain and repair CAM (Computer Aided Machining) and similar configuration/set-up of production equipment related to laser and plasma cutting, tube bending and coiling, welding and electrostatic powder coating
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to assist with repairs and installations
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and software issues in manufacturing systems and provide solutions to improve production efficiency and reduce downtime
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance
- Provide training and technical support to production regarding production equipment, processes, safety regulations and quality control procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production managers and engineers, to support a lean mindset and continuous improvements
- Assist in the continuous development of documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for automation systems
- Recommend process adjustments based on performance data and industry trends
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Associate degree or certification in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience (2 years) in a mechatronics or maintenance technician role in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and control systems
- Hands-on experience with PLCs, robotics, control systems, and sensors
- Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools, hand tools, and equipment
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing automated systems, including robotic and conv
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset for continuous improvement
- Ability to work independently and within a team, with excellent communication and collaboration skills
- You are physically fit, energetic and self-motivated
- You have the ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
- You have a "safety first" mindset and understand the importance of upholding safety standards
- You are comfortable using computers and can navigate systems efficiently
- You have experience with continuous improvement initiatives (Lean/Kaizen) and manufacturing concepts
- You are legally able to work in the USA
