BE'S Refreshments, NE Wisconsin's premier refreshments company, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bulk Muffin Maker to join our bakery team! This role involves preparing large batches of muffin batter, converting recipes according to quantity needed, baking to perfection, and ensuring consistency in quality and taste. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-volume baking, strong attention to detail, the ability to follow recipes precisely, and the math skills to convert correctly as needed.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Measure and mix ingredients following established bakery recipes for large batches of muffins.
- Operate mixers, portioning equipment, ovens, and other bakery tools efficiently.
- Ensure muffins are baked to the correct texture, taste, and appearance.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and notify the manager of any shortages.
- Maintain consistency in muffin size, flavor, and quality for every batch.
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation guidelines, keeping the workspace clean and organized.
- Assist with packaging and labeling muffins for distribution or display.
- Work efficiently to meet production deadlines, especially during peak hours.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth bakery operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in baking, preferably in a high-volume setting.
- Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient measurements, and equipment operation.
- Ability to follow recipes precisely and maintain product consistency.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple batches efficiently.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy bags of ingredients (up to 50 lbs).
- Understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
- Passion for baking and creating high-quality products.
