Time for an exciting change? BE'S Refreshments, NE Wisconsin's premier refreshments company, is seeking a Catering Delivery Driver Coordinator to join our family!
Hours: Monday-Friday, approximately 8am-4pm. **This position requires ability and willingness to start and end the workday earlier/later as needed, with occasional start time of 5/6:00am. Some weekend availability may be required on rare occasions.
Pay: $19.00/hour
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate drivers and vehicle assignments for all catering deliveries (approximately 6-8 hours/week)
- Confirm all deliveries are accurately prepared, effectively adjusting staffing and delivery/event changes as needed
- Prepare and present delivery/event scheduling details during weekly (Wednesday) meetings with all event coordinators and kitchen staff
- Work with the General Manager in ordering food items and beverages for various sites
- Daily scheduled pickup and delivery of food and beverage items to various sites
- Setup and delivery of equipment and food/beverage items at customer sites
- Display passive and respectful driving etiquette at all times while driving our company vehicle(s)
- Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
- Work with the catering team to ensure that all items are complete, packed correctly, and delivered to the correct customer at requested time
- Provide excellent customer experience and ensure customer satisfaction
- Adhere to assigned routes and follow strict time schedules
- Abide by and ensure food-safety and cleanliness standards at all times
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a minimum of 3( ) years’ experience and a clean and safe driving record is required
- Proven attention to detail and efficient time-management skills required
- Must be able to maintain composure under high-pressure conditions
- Must be adaptable to change with quick and effective problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service
Physical requirements:
- Visual acuity required for driving company vehicles
- Must be able to walk and stand for the majority of an 8-hour shift
- Must be able to bend, twist, squat, reach above shoulders, push/pull/lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
