Equipment Technician

BE’S Refreshments, Inc., is seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Technician to join our team in installing, repairing, maintaining, replacing, moving, and removing various equipment at our customer locations throughout Northeast Wisconsin. This position is primarily responsible for the proper functioning of our snack and soda machines, coffee/water/ice maker/ice-cream equipment, and payment kiosks.

We are also seeking a dedicated on-site Facility Maintenance Associate to focus on servicing our industrial kitchen equipment, as well as general building maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, maintain, replace, move, and remove vending machines, water units, coffee units, and payment kiosks at various customer locations throughout the workday

• On-site facility maintenance focusing on servicing our industrial kitchen equipment including dishwashers, grills, ovens, exhaust systems, coolers, (etc.) to ensure uninterrupted food production and food safety standards

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, plumbing, heating/cooling, and software issues

• Consistently and effectively communicate via email, phone call, our software programs/apps, and in-person with the Technician Department team, and all other necessary departments/personnel using a company-provided cellphone (either Android or Apple based on employee’s preference)

• Display integrity and urgency in all internal/external communication and service resolutions

• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance including filter changes and equipment cleaning to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance

• Record all steps taken in troubleshooting and repairing each service order immediately after servicing, updating in our software program on your handheld device

• Recognize and report any and all concerns, complaints, and/or obstacles

• Safely and respectfully drive company vehicles to and from multiple customer sites daily, strictly abiding by all traffic laws at all times

• Must maintain a valid and clean driving record and immediately report any moving violations on or off company time

• Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle at all times

• Other relevant duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a safe and clear driving record for 3( ) years minimum

• Previous experience in vending machine or appliance troubleshooting and repair

• Mechanically and technologically inclined with strong desire to resolve problems

• Consistent display of integrity and dedication to excellence.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, committed to prompt response time

• Dependable and reliable with an excellent attendance record

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

• Ability to bend and twist at the waist, kneel, squat, climb, and reach above shoulders repetitively throughout an 8-hour shift

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 200 pounds repetitively throughout the day using proper lifting equipment and technique
