Food Production Associate, Full-Time

Time for an exciting change? Due to our tremendous growth, BE'S Refreshments is seeking a full-time Food Production Associate to join our awesome team! This position has an integral role in our kitchen making tasty, fresh food items for our micro-markets, cafés, and vending machines. Your typical workday will primarily entail a mix of food production, packaging, and packing in the coolers.

Hours: Full-time, Sunday through Thursday, from 6:00am until 2:30pm (or until all required duties are completed)

Life as a Food Production Associate:

• Assemble a variety of salads, sandwiches, and parfaits according to recipe
• Clean, cut, and weigh produce
• Focus on presentation and aesthetic appeal of food items
• Pack finished items in correct containers according to packing sheets
• Drive our company van to transport product to our West location, working in the cooler to place food crates in the correct areas according to route, as needed
• Safely operate all kitchen equipment, cleaning after each use
• Maintain work areas in a clean and organized manner
• Effectively multitask and focus on time management while accomplishing all of the above simultaneously
• Assist in cleaning duties including sweeping and mopping
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age
• Eager and enthusiastic to learn, assisting where needed
• Proven ability to work well in a team environment and evidence of collaborative skills
• Prior relevant experience preferred but willing to train
• Proven dependability and excellent attendance record

Physical requirements:

• Ability to walk, stand, squat, bend and twist at the waist, and reach above shoulders repetitively through the entirety of an 8-hour shift
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
