Due to our tremendous growth, BE'S Refreshments, NE Wisconsin's premier refreshments company, is seeking a quality Route Delivery Driver Trainee/Float to join our team in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin! This exciting position will start as a Trainee/Float, learning all aspects of the vending machine and micro-market world.
Schedule/Required Availability: Monday-Friday. Must be available and willing to start the day between 12am-5am as start (and end) times will vary during your first few months to year. Be home every night, and NO WEEKENDS!
Pay: Salaries start at $41,000/year, with the opportunity to make much more on our commission-based pay structure once trained!
Job Duties:
- Work on designated routes with various established Route Drivers and Supervisors to learn routes and all responsibilities and expectations required to take on and cover routes
- Merchandise and refill products based on set planograms and designated par levels, requesting any changes/suggestions in our inventory application on a handheld electronic device
- Deliver products to approximately 10-30 clients per day, filling machines and markets neatly and aesthetically appealing
- Rotate all products using first-in-first-out and re-filling from the back
- Check and remove ALL expired/expiring items and properly document via handheld device
- Submit daily before/after pictures through the handheld device
- Ensure proper functioning and cleanliness of machinery and markets, report to management any problems unable to be resolved while on-site, immediately
- Establish and build customer relationships and rapport by providing exceptional customer service and communication at all times
- Remove and replenish cash/change from equipment and issue refunds as needed
- Responsible and accountable for accurate cash/change delivered to the money room according to the daily route report
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with an excellent and clean record for 3 years required
- Must be able to comfortably and safely drive 16’ box trucks once trained
- Prior route driving or merchandising experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills are required
- Excellent time management and organizational skills required
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift, load, and unload 50 pounds repeatedly
- Must be able to push and pull up to 200 pounds
- Must be able to walk, stand, climb, sit, squat, bend and twist at the waist, and reach above shoulders repeatedly throughout the shift
- Must be comfortable with variation of temperatures - in and out hot/cold vehicles and sites
