The Role :
As a Network Engineer at BE Staffing Solutions, your responsibilities will include :
- Network Design & Implementation : Develop, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure tailored to meet the specific needs of our diverse clientele.
- Performance Monitoring : Utilize advanced tools to continuously monitor network performance, ensuring optimal operation and proactively addressing potential issues.
- Troubleshooting & Support : Provide expert troubleshooting for network-related issues, minimizing downtime and maintaining seamless operations.
- Security Management : Implement and manage security measures to protect network integrity and data confidentiality, including firewalls and VPNs.
- Configuration & Optimization : Configure network hardware and software for peak performance, regularly reviewing and optimizing settings to enhance efficiency.
- Documentation : Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures to ensure clarity and compliance.
- Capacity Planning : Analyze current network capacity and forecast future needs to ensure scalability and sustainability.
- Collaboration : Work closely with IT teams and other stakeholders to integrate new technologies and support overall business goals.
- Vendor Management : Coordinate with external vendors for equipment procurement, installation, and support services.
- Training & Development : Stay current with industry trends and technologies, sharing knowledge and insights with the team to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Disaster Recovery Planning : Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in case of network failures.
- Educational Background : Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience : Minimum of 3 years in a network engineering role, with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Technical Proficiency : Strong skills in configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
- Knowledge of Protocols : In-depth understanding of networking protocols such as TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, and BGP.
- Certifications : CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
- Analytical Skills : Excellent problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
- Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
