Who we are looking for:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, motivated, and collaborative therapist to join our full-time staff. We are interested in candidates who provide affirming and trauma informed care, and who are interested in exploring ways to raise awareness of implicit bias and barriers to quality mental health care. Prior training and experience in the provision of evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT and ACT is preferred. While specific training in the treatment of OCD or eating disorders is a plus, it is understood that most applicants and new-hires have no previous training in those approaches.
A full-time therapist would be involved in the following duties, tasks, responsibilities, and capacities:
- Provide intake assessments to inform treatment plans
- Utilize evidence-based treatment approaches in individual and group formats (couples and family formats are also available)
- Participation across outpatient & Intensive Outpatient Programs
- Attendance at interdisciplinary treatment teams and regular consultation and training to build and develop competency in treatment approaches
- Participation in trainings and willingness to grow in knowledge of evidence-based treatments across a range of diverse populations (e.g., children, older adults)
- Ability to be flexible with a caseload that includes children, adolescents, and adults
- Willingness to work with a diverse population of individuals
- Proper storage of private and sensitive patient information
Other requirements and preferences are as follows:
- Applicants must have 2 years relevant work experience with at least a Masters in their respective field
- Flexibility in scheduling to include evening hours, if needed
- Preference for a start date asap, though we are flexible given fit for the position

Be Well Kentucky (BWK) is based in Louisville with a satellite office in Lexington. The Clinic specializes in the provision of evidence-based treatment for eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma and other anxiety related disorders. Several therapists sit on state council boards such as Kentucky Eating Disorder Council and Kentucky Psychological Association. Clinicians are seen regularly at outreach events and professional conferences as keynote and expert presenters.
BWK therapists are cross-trained to treat patients across all services, we offer extensive training from clinical staff members who are experts in the field, as well as monthly didactic training, weekly consultation teams, and access to a comprehensive digital library of treatment manuals, workbooks, handouts, and peer-reviewed journal articles. It is our goal to support your development as a specialist in the provision of evidence-based therapies for OCD & Eating Disorders.
As a thriving and growing specialty clinic, salary will be commensurate with prior experience with potential for substantial increases and bonuses. This position will be commission based and has the potential to provide telehealth alongside in person therapy position based in Louisville KY.
