The Inside Sales Representative position is responsible for supporting our Pedestrian, Industrial, Vehicle and Security segment customers in Mexico, Caribbean, and South America. Success will be based on the effectiveness of this role to achieve our vision of continued growth and provide an amazing customer experience. This position is required to work in a cross-functional environment between various internal departments (including but not limited to Operations, Customer Service, Product Management, Marketing, Codes and Standards, Quality, Procurement and Finance) and has the responsibility to align functional resources to achieve targeted strategies, objectives and financial results. The International Inside Sales Representation will also be an Ideal Team Player who supports our mission to build a convenient, safe, automated world and works to achieve our vision of continued growth and market expansion.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build and cultivate partnerships with different customer profiles throughout the region. This includes but not limited to Distributors | Integrators | OEM’s | and more.
- Work as part of a team to achieve quarterly sales goals for the region together with the International Sales & Business Development Manager.
- Ability to clearly communicate and present all features and benefits associated with BEA products in different settings. Teams| Zoom – Field Presentations – Customer Events – Tradeshows – and more.
- Report results on account growth, sales goals, customer experience and quarterly initiatives.
- Analyze customer feedback and implement programs to improve the customer experience.
- Provide support to International Sales & Business Development Manager with order management, interdepartmental operations, day-to-day tactical activities.
- Manage projects, open sales orders, PO’s, and the proforma process on behalf of the region.
- Utilize CRM to manage customer information and interactions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) is required. Fluency in Portuguese is a plus.
- Experience and knowledge working with Incoterms: EXW | CIF | DDP | etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 – SharePoint | Dynamics| BI | Excel | PPT
- Technical selling experience in electronics preferred but not required
- International experience in sales desired.
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in business to business.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and the ability to interact effectively with diverse audiences.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel 1-2 times per year.
- Ideal Team Player mentality with excellent leadership and collaborative skills and proven success on a team.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers at various levels.
- Proven track record of successful business planning and growth that align with quota goals.
