Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist

Position Summary:

We are seeking a caring, knowledgeable, and dedicated Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist to join our team. This role involves providing early intervention services to infants and toddlers (birth to age 3). The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and families in home or community-based settings and a strong understanding of child development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct developmental screenings and assessments in cognitive, motor, language, and social-emotional domains
• Develop individualized service plans (IFSPs) in collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams
• Provide direct developmental intervention services in natural environments (e.g., home, daycare)
• Educate and support families in promoting their child’s development
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Collaborate with other early intervention professionals and community resources
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or a related field
• Minimum of 1–2 years experience working with infants, toddlers, and families
• Knowledge of early intervention practices and IDEA Part C services preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally for home visits

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
