Job Description: An Entertainment Center Operations Manager is responsible for all guest service, restaurant and bar profitability and suggestive selling standards including but not limited to food and beverage and bar personnel. Participates in the hiring, training, scheduling, development, and performance evaluations of employees. In addition, executes the service of all parties and banquets in cooperation with the Sales Department.
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following;
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Ensuring all service and suggestive selling standards are met.
· Helping coordinate sales contests to increase guest check average.
· Managing labor and cost of goods sold (GOGS)
· Executing all requirements for parties and banquets.
· Participating in the team member recruiting, hiring, training, development progressive discipline and discharge.
· Ensuring compliance with ABC regulations and Alcohol Awareness Program.
· Participating in management meetings and communicating with GM and Owner.
· Scheduling and labor management.
· Overseeing basic POS programing and training for team members.
· Managing breaks to avoid breaks during peak periods.
· Ensuring a harassment-free work environment.
Job Requirements
Skill/Experience: Minimum of one year Restaurant/Entertainment Center Management experience and possess basic computer skills and spreadsheet familiarity.
Job Activities:
· Smiles and friendliness to both staff and guests.
· Manages and leads each shift to ensure maximum guest satisfaction and profitability.
· Oversees suggestive selling contests and education.
· Manages guest service standards and education.
· Administers team member hiring, training, development, scheduling, performance reviews, progressive discipline, and discharge.
· Resolve problems and implement correction actions.
· Manages Guest recovery situations.
· Functions in a hands-on work environment-jumps in and helps.
· Interacts with guests and provides “best for the guest” service.
· Assists on the floor when and where necessary to ensure positive guest experience.
Reporting Relationship:
· Reports to General Manager
Working Conditions:
· Must be available to work all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to speak, read and hear English.
· Must have close and distant vision.
· Must be able to identify and distinguish colors.
· Frequent walking, standing, and moving between tight spaces.
· Will walk for extended periods of time, for extended distances.
· Frequently lifts/carries up to 25 lbs.
· Occasionally lifts/carries up to 50 lbs.
· Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
· Able to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel and stoop repeatedly.
