Beach Elite Volleyball Club is looking to fill the following positions for the upcoming season:

Indoor Volleyball Coach
Beach Volleyball Coach
Tournament Director
Summer Camp Instructor
Adult Beach Volleyball Instructor

Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Volleyball Coach to lead our team in developing skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching, particularly in volleyball, and will be responsible for creating an engaging and positive environment for athletes of all skill levels. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to motivate players, and a commitment to fostering a love for the sport.

General Duties

• Develop and implement training programs that enhance players' skills and performance in volleyball.
• Conduct regular practices focusing on individual skill development, teamwork, and game strategies.
• Organize and oversee competitive matches, ensuring adherence to rules and sportsmanship principles.
• Evaluate player performance and provide constructive feedback to promote improvement.
• Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes respect, discipline, and collaboration among athletes.
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and other coaching staff regarding team progress and expectations.
• Maintain knowledge of current trends in volleyball coaching techniques and strategies.
• Ensure the safety of all participants during practices and games by adhering to health protocols.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sports coaching, particularly volleyball;
• Strong understanding of the fundamentals of volleyball and effective coaching techniques.
• Certification in lifeguarding or first aid is preferred but not required.
• Experience in health clubs or gyms is advantageous; familiarity with martial arts or swimming can be beneficial.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for practices and games.
• A commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.

Must be positive, self motivated, organized, and have a strong verbal skills and work ethic. Must be able to commit to the entire season (3-7 month seasons). Coaches must have at least one year coaching experience. POSITIONS AVAILABLE:
Indoor Volleyball Instructor:

• Coach 1-2practices a week,
• Coaching competitive club volleyball experience required
• Possible Locations: Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa, Fountain Valley
• Pay: DOE ($15-30/hr)

Beach Volleyball Coach:

• Coach 1-3 beach practices a week
• Coaching competitive club volleyball experience required
• Locations: Huntington Beach
• Pay: DOE ($15-30/hr)

Tournament Director:

• Run a beach volleyball tournament about once a month. Morning to early afternoon
• Must be able to learn computer software, have good communication skills and multi task
• Locations: Huntington Beach
• Pay: DOE ($150-$250 a day)
