Reports to: Regional Property Supervisor or Community Manager
Position Type: Full-Time
Location: 200 N Mill St., Tehachapi, CA 93561
Pay Rate: $23.00 to $25.00 hourly
Essential Functions of this position include but are not limited to:
- Rake or sweep gravel leaves and grass trimmings off sidewalks, paths, and other areas
- Pick up debris, litter and trash including enclosed dumpster areas. Empties trash cans, Removes graffiti. May clean restrooms and laundry rooms
- Pick up, move, distribute, deliver, set up and disassemble a variety of equipment, parts, supplies, and furniture
- Maintain logs and records
- Maintains property lighting
- Clean and maintain in a sanitary condition: the pool deck, bulkhead, and spas
- Clean and maintain in a sanitary condition: restrooms, washrooms – Including all the fixtures.
- Replace burned out light bulbs and fluorescent light bulbs
- Follow all applicable safety rules and regulations
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Requirements
The skills and qualifications of this position include but are not limited to the following:
- One year of work experience performing grounds keeping work
- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow detailed oral/written instructions
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and the public
- Walk, stand, and kneel for prolonged periods
Travel Requirements: Moderate travel for this position requires you to have reliable transportation. Travel requirements for this position may change at any time.
Physical Requirements: Require persons in this position to lift up to 35lbs and wear face covering when working with the public or in close proximity to other staff necessary.
