Job Summary:
The Regional Property Supervisor will provide strong leadership and proactively manage a team with a focus on accountability and performance.
Position Type: Exempt
Location: Long beach, CA
Essential Functions:
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly team deadlines.
- Serve as the main point of contact for property owners and managers.
- Oversee a portfolio of multi-family properties in Los Angeles and surrounding areas.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of company policies related to property management.
- Manage monthly budgets and financial reviews.
- Ensure proper maintenance and performance of assigned properties.
- Supervise employees to ensure timely completion of tasks, including rent collections and timesheets.
- Oversee annual re-certifications for properties.
- Participate in hiring decisions to ensure team alignment.
- Assess property needs and evaluate staff performance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to recommend effective solutions.
- Experience in managing and overseeing apartment maintenance, property marketing, and insurance.
- Strong supervisory, organizational, and personnel management skills.
- Demonstrates professionalism, initiative, and independent judgment.
- Ability to take action with urgency, empathy, and enthusiasm.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience in supervising multiple properties.
- Proven experience managing staff.
- Proficiency in Yardi Voyager.
- Knowledge of the Affordable Housing industry (preferred).
- Familiarity with California property management regulations and policies.
Education:
- Fair Housing Certification (Preferred)
- Real Estate License (Preferred)
Travel Requirements:
This role requires reliable transportation, and travel needs may change as required.
